As construction began on the property, we were sad to spot butterflies less frequently throughout the day. However, as things have settled and we have planted so many local flowers, plants, and fruiting trees, the butterflies are back, baby! Not only are they easy to see each day as they spiral around each other, bouncing from flower to flower, but the colors and patterns are truly spectacular. From tiny, bright-winged minis to speckled giants, our butterflies are one of the highlights of staying in such a wild and natural place.
